As we've previously reported, HYUKOH and Sunset Rollercoaster are in the midst of a whirlwind tour across the Asia-Pacific region in support of their collaborative albumAAA.
Now, two of Asia’s most celebrated indie bands are also set to perform live in Singapore as part of their AAA Tour on Friday, 15 November, 8PM at Singapore Expo Hall 7.
The AAA album is the culmination of a year-long journey that began in May 2023, when the two bands embarked on a series of monthly sessions across South Korea. These sessions took place in picturesque locations such as Gapyeong, Seoul, and Jeju Island, where the rich ensemble of HYUKOH’s instrumental mastery, led by frontman OHHYUK’s distinctive vocals, merged seamlessly with Sunset Rollercoaster’s smooth melodic romance and poetic lyrics. The result is a stunning eight-track album that reflects the essence of both bands while capturing a broad spectrum of emotions and soundscapes.
This tour is the first time both bands will perform AAA live, giving fans a rare opportunity to witness them perform each other’s back catalogues as well as their collaborative tracks from the album. The concert will celebrate their deep-rooted bond, which began in 2020 when the two bands first crossed paths in Tokyo. Their collaboration started with OHHYUK’s feature on Sunset Rollercoaster’s ‘Candlelight’ and Sunset Rollercoaster’s remake of HYUKOH’s ‘Help’, both of which became fan favorites during the pandemic.
