Internationally acclaimed Hong Kong producer XTIE teams up with Poland’s rising sugar pop innovator Marie to bring a fresh, heartfelt take on holiday music with their EP Xmas Night Shift.

Featuring four tracks that capture the emotional highs and lows of the holiday season, the EP is a celebration of resilience, independence, and the often-unspoken loneliness of Christmas. XTIE shares, "The EP is a little witty, girly, playful, yet vulnerable, like everything goes into one EP."

The EP’s story centers on navigating the festive season after a heartbreak. From using work as a distraction to finding strength and humor in unexpected moments, Xmas Night Shift shines a light on modern-day women embracing their independence. With its relatable lyrics and evocative melodies, the EP reflects the rollercoaster of emotions during this bittersweet time of year.

"Marie and I met at a songwriting camp in France this summer. We connected as independent artists running our own labels and decided to write a holiday EP inspired by our shared experiences of building creative businesses in our twenties," XTIE shares.

Marie expressed similar sentiments, "It’s fascinating to bring together our vastly different Christmas traditions from Asia and Europe. Despite cultural differences, we both relate deeply to the challenges and triumphs of being women in the creative industry. This EP is our story of strength and perseverance."

The mini album's highlights include lead single, 'Santa why are you so late?', which is a catchy dance-pop anthem with UK garage influences.
