Matenrou Opera, a legendary visual kei metal band from Japan has released their new album MUTSU NO HANA.
Lead single 'BLOOD' is a perfect first taste of the LP, combining intensity of death metal with traditional Japanese melodies, offering a glimpse into the album's unique flair.
The new album artfully interweaves Matenrou Opera's distinctive universe, blending the raw power of heavy metal with emotive melodies.
The 13-tracks effort includes the commemorative double single 'Suiyoku no Waltz / Apocalypse'—previously distributed to attendees of the 16th Anniversary Live - Suigyoku no Waltz concert in May 2023—and 'Yami o Hamu', the theme song for the voice drama Magatsu Note Season:3. Also featured is the standout pre-release single 'Yoake wa Yuki to Tomo ni'.
Kicking off the new year, Matenrou Opera will embark on a nationwide tour starting in February 2025, featuring 18 shows across 16 cities, bringing their spectacular live experience to fans across Japan.
