Japanese musician TOMONARI SORA, known in Japan as the “Reiwa Era pop killer”, has released a new song called ‘Bergamot’.
The song’s lyrics, composition, arrangement, audio mix and jacket artwork were all created by SORA himself. ‘Bergamot’ follows his previous viral hits including ‘Demons Banquet’ and ‘Niramekko’.
This earworm pop tune boasts an unforgettable melody, clever wordplay, stylish sound and an arrangement filled with unexpected aural twists that will keep you hooked till the end.
A lyric video for ‘Bergamot’ was also released, produced by Tsumugi, who made the video for SORA’s previous track ‘ACTOR’.
SORA encapsulates his track by describing, “A glamorous yet lonely eastern city. Amid the neon lights and commotion, days spent alternating between work and leisure. Passing someone at an intersection, a scent on the wind evokes a certain memory. Tonight is Saturday. Your favorite bergamot eau de toilette spray lingers on your wrist.”
