BOYNEXTDOOR are set to make their highly-anticipated return on 13 May (6PM KST) with their fourth EP No Genre. Arriving roughly eight months after their third EP 19.99 and four months following their January digital single 'IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU', the new album was announced alongside a captivating comeback animation video.

The teaser piques curiosity with striking visuals and a rhythm-driven beat. Set against a purple backdrop, a black animated figure walks in sync with a steady, drum-heavy groove before suddenly leaping over the No Genre logo, which appears in a playful font, adding a burst of personality to the final frame. The quick yet impactful animation has viewers speculating about what the imagery and title of the band’s upcoming EP might signify.

The album announcement follows the triumphant finale of BOYNEXTDOOR’s first tour, KNOCK ON Vol. 1, which wrapped at Jakarta’s Istora Senayan Arena on 12 April. Kicking off with two sold-out shows in Incheon in December 2024, the tour spanned 12 cities across Asia—including six stops in Japan, followed by shows in Singapore, Manila, Taipei, Hong Kong—before culminating in Jakarta.

At every stop, K-pop’s free-spirits turned the stage into their personal playground, captivating fans with effortless confidence, charisma, and energy. The setlist featured everything from hit lead singles to fan-favorites, with audiences singing along in Korean and responding enthusiastically to the group’s playful local-language ad libs. From thunderous chants to emotional singalongs, the tour proved their growing global presence.

Following the album, BOYNEXTDOOR’s global momentum will continue as they gear up to take the stage at Lollapalooza Chicago 2025, marking a major milestone in their budding career.
