Lisa Ono, often regarded as the Queen of Bossa Nova, is slated to perform in Singapore for a one-night-only concert for her 35th Anniversary in the music industry.

Ono’s musical journey began at the age of 15 when she started singing and playing the guitar. She debuted as a professional Bossa Nova singer in 1989, quickly establishing herself with her “natural voice, rhythmic guitar playing and her charming smile”.

She rose to fame following the release of her album Dream (1999), which sold more than 200,000 copies in Japan, solidifying her place within the Japanese Bossa Nova community. Lisa has since performed alongside iconic musicians such as Antonio Carlos Jobim, Joao Donato and more.

The soulful singer will be performing a plethora of classics, including ‘Que Sera Sera’, ‘Moon River’, ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’ and ‘Besame Mucho’

Catch the Lisa Ono 35th Anniversary Singapore Concert at the Esplanade Concert Hall on 24 June. Tickets can be purchased through SISTIC's official website, hotline at +65 6348 5555, or any SISTIC outlet.
