Warner Chappell Music (WCM) has announced the appointment of Tat Tong as Vice President of A&R and Creative, Asia Pacific today (16/7).
In this new role, the Singaporean music industry veteran will be responsible for developing and executing Warner Music Group's publishing arm's A&R and creative strategies across the Asia-Pacific region. Tong will be working closely with local, regional, and global teams to discover new talent, oversee the development of music projects and align the company's strategies with the global vision.

I’m eager to leverage my expertise and knowledge of the regional markets to discover and develop exceptional songwriting talent. Prior to joining WCM, Tong held various roles at Sony Music Entertainment, including A&R Director for the RCA Records Greater China team, and consultant for the company's Greater China artist roster. A sought-after record producer and songwriter, Tong has worked with the likes of SHINee, Troye Sivan, Kaskade, JJ Lin, Luis Fonsi, and more.
