Seoul-native Jong Lee, better known as the frontman of Peach Luffe, has already blessed us this year the exquisite Honey EP, which was just released this past March. But we're glad to report that the fast-rising South Korean indie act is already back with a brand new single!
Entitled 'Just a Thread', Peach Luffe's latest effort is an upbeat track that layers flawless velvety notes of violin between indie rock instrumentation. The song comes packaged with a stripped-back acoustic B-side that accentuates Lee's dreamy vocals and the strings.
"We have been having a lot of fun experimenting in the studio with violin as the lead on high-tempo indie pop during the past few months. I am excited to share this one with the listeners. The story of circles around becoming unhappy with yourself. Over time, you have become numb to feeling things. You really miss who you used to be and wonder how to get back to your old self," Lee explains.
'Just a Thread' was written and produced by Lee, with contributions from Peach Luffe member Michael Friedman and regular collaborator Yifan Wu.
